Email Template

Overview

A key component of managing a best-practice privacy operation is communicating with your customers regarding their privacy requests. We have prepared some email templates for different types of privacy requirements that can manage the subject requests between the organization and its customers. Email templates contain some pre-build rules for some tables with their subject and it will be triggered automatically when a request occurs. These rules consist of names from different tables so that they can be marked when their usage is required.

For customer reliability, there is an option to even update the template where the customer can simply click on the button present under the Action column and update the parameters in the template or even produce a new one.

[!TIP] Skypoint provides default templates, we encourage you to review them and make them your own. Adapting these templates in conjunction with your company's specific privacy requirements will ensure privacy management.

Steps to update the Email Template

Follow the below steps to view/update the Email Template:

  1. In the left pane, go to Empower > Email Templates.

  1. Click the Email Template name (highlighted in blue) that you want to update.

  1. Make all the necessary changes you want and click on Update.

You can modify the text inside the double curly braces "{{variable}}". These email template variables are available when you send emails to and from the data subject.
